In the first session we will discover your muscular imbalances. In the following two sessions I will teach you exercises to correct them so that you can successfully reach your goals injury free.
During the first session you will perform a corrective exercise assessment to determine where your muscles are overactive and under-active. By identifying these muscles, I can design a plan for you that helps you prevent any injuries that could occur in the future or from the past that could be reoccurring.
From the information gathered during the first session I will provide you with a stretch guide and workouts that can be used to get you started, as well as keep you on track in the future. I will also design the workouts around the equipment that you have available to you. Whether your workouts will be performed in a gym or at home each workout will be designed to build the foundation to prevent injury, build lean muscle and burn body fat.
Each workout that I design for you will be different so that you are able to work each muscle group in a different way so that the muscle doesn’t adapt too quickly. The goal is to keep you from hitting any plateau’s and/or getting bored (obviously the more workout options you have the less chance of boredom). Each workout will have different sets and repetitions recommended. I will also teach you about how important the tempo/speed of each movement is and what is best recommended to exceed your personal goal. You will also be provided with cardiovascular workout options.
As mentioned above I will provide you with a stretch guide that will be very important to maintain long and lean muscles. I will also teach about dynamic stretching vs static stretching and when each should be performed for optimum results.
Last, we will discuss what is the best resistance training and cardiovascular options (time and frequency) to develop consistency.
