This is not your average weight loss program. We will be putting your overall well-being first, rather than focusing on calorie counting and weight checks. The goal is to come out feeling more empowered in your body as well as armed with tools to lead a healthier, happier lifestyle.
Session #1 focuses on meal planning tips. Session #2 gives a deeper look into nutrition labels and how to choose foods that are not sugar-laden or loaded with sodium. In Session #3, we discuss mindful eating techniques as well as the difference between hunger, craving, and eating for emotional reasons. Within this, we cultivate activities for leisure and self-care, such that we no longer feel a need to turn to food for emotional purposes. We will also discuss stress management techniques. In Session #4, we discuss workday wellness: how to increase physical activity during the day, break up periods of sitting, as well as keep ourselves properly fueled throughout the day. Session #5 is devoted to the topic of exercise, where, in addition to what was already discussed in previous sessions, we will set exercise goals catered to your individual lifestyle needs.
