Upon getting caught up in the day-to-day things that just ‘have’ to be completed, there can be a tendency to put our personal health and well-being on the back burner. Phrases come to mind like:
• “I’ll get to it over the weekend…”
• “As soon as this ‘(fill in the blank)’ is completed, then I’ll think about healthy activities”
• “Stress is something everybody has, why should I be different?”
• “There just aren’t enough hours in the day!”
• “I’ll sleep when I retire!”
Any of this sound familiar?
In the process of placing it on the back burner, there can be a longing for how things use to be. Worse yet, a belief can develop that has you feeling like your best das are behind you. The thought of merely having time to ‘catch up’ seems like a fantasy way of living that might mysteriously work for some, but given your current situation, there’s no way that could possibly work for you. If this is your belief, then you’re probably correct. Another person’s version of a healthy approach might not work for you…
…that said, what if we identified your strengths from your experiences, from your enduring journey and from your successes? What if we included those in your personal plan of approach toward a goal that is most important to you? With those personal strengths onboard, would you then be more likely to discover your steps to take? Would you be more invested in the progress you make? Can you imagine the progress being more sustainable toward your desired outcome?
Imagine how it would feel to experience your desired outcome, your version, your Personal Best in health and overall well-being.
Since 2009, I’ve had the opportunity to work with many people from many different walks of life who wanted these things and more. It often started with them seeing me to discover how to become healthier physically (e.g., losing weight, becoming more physically active, reducing stress, etc.).
While having certifications in exercise, nutrition, stress management and sleep science to name a few, and being Board Certified in Health & Wellness, many people completed their coaching session experience with discoveries of what makes living most meaningful, their personal version of what brings purpose and joy to life.
I would be honored to work with you to discover what is most important for you to achieve at this time, while uncovering what's currently in the way stopping you from experiencing that desired outcome. Upon scheduling 1 session toward that result, let’s discover next steps toward progress can be!
