Elimination diet with Terese

I believe that each person is bio-individual, meaning that each person's body reacts differently to both internal and external factors. Because of this it is important as you learn of your autoimmune disease to factor in a elimination diet.
A elimination diet is not a cleanse. A elimination diet consists of 12 weeks in which we will eliminate the most common food triggers that causes inflammation in most people's bodies. We will eliminate gluten, dairy, nuts, soy, nightshade vegetables, eggs, caffeine, fish, and shellfish for 2 weeks.
We slowly add one thing back into your diet at a time. During this time you will keep a food diary of anything you notice occurring in your body after adding the food back into your diet.
We will review your food diary at each session. At the end of the 12 weeks we will be able to recognize those food triggers that are causing inflammation in your body. It is an important step in your wellness because every person is a bioindividual and isn't triggered by all of the same foods. I will also teach you how to read food labels so that you may recognize these ingredients in their many forms and names and can avoid foods that contain them.
