As the Registered Nurse in the family, I took care of my dad, who passed away of cardiovascular disease. The results of his many years of poor diet and habits had a profound effect on me as I took stock of my own lifestyle. I was overweight and had high blood pressure and cholesterol. Through lifestyle design, I brought those numbers down and feel more alive in my 50's than I did decades ago! Now as a Professional, Board-Certified Nurse Coach (NC-BC), I am guiding women over 40 to lose the weight and reverse metabolic and heart disease with simple, natural solutions. I believe in the 6 pillars of Lifestyle Medicine, Whole Food, Plant-Based Nutrition, Restorative Sleep, Movement and Exercise, Social Interaction, Stress Management and Avoiding Risky Behavior as traditional wisdom and also science-based with modern research. My ideal clients are those that are willing to believe they have it in them to make changes, with me as their guide, providing the right tools at the right time as they design the best version of themselves!
