From a tender age, I uncovered the joy of growing food, a passion that has burned brightly throughout my life. This early discovery shaped my journey into adulthood, enabling me to nourish my children with wholesome, homegrown meals, fostering their health from infancy through maturity. Today, they carry this legacy forward, nurturing their own children with the same care. Pursuing a degree in Food Science was a pivotal decision, deepening my understanding of nutrition and the intricate science behind what we eat. Hungry for more, I became a Functional Nutritionist, an exhilarating adventure that felt like traveling through the human body, witnessing the daily alchemy of eating and digestion firsthand.

Long before mastering the science of food, I recognized the vital role of movement in health. Physical activity isn’t just for youth, it’s a lifelong necessity to build and maintain strong muscles that support the body at every age. For years, I shared this belief through teaching, leading gymnastics for preschoolers and aerobics for adults. My own pursuits pushed boundaries, from biking and rowing to running, sailing, surfing, and climbing. Then I discovered yoga, a practice I believe should underpin all sports. Yoga’s blend of mobility, muscle-building, and breath-driven oxygen flow creates a foundation for vitality that endures.

Along the way, I learned that a home environment can silently undermine health. Motivated to make a difference, I launched a “green” cleaning business, using only safe, biodegradable products to protect clients from the toxic effects of conventional cleaners. While I hoped to inspire change, many clung to harmful products, unaware of their impact—a challenge that only fueled my resolve to educate others.
