Kate Golias, MOT, OTR/L, RYT

First, I am so glad you're here. Even if it's just to visit. It means you're curious about health and wellness. You are worth feeling good. Inside and out, mind and body.

My name is Kate and since 2016, I have completely transformed my lifestyle- gaining a deeper understanding of mental, physical, emotional and spiritual health through holistic and integrative approaches. This journey was prompted by years of suffering from symptoms of chronic stress, digestive issues, fatigue, depression, anxiety, PTSD, Hashimoto's thyroiditis, inflammation, delayed fertility, recurrent miscarriage and more. Drawing from my own personal experience helps me to bring a high level of empathy, respect, and understanding to each person and their story.

I have extensively studied and acquired information and skills within the health, wellness and nutrition sectors. I have a Bachelors degree in Psychology from the University of Vermont and a Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Pittsburgh. I have a decade of experience working with clients that have various diagnoses, diseases and symptoms. In 2018, I completed my 200 hour Yoga Teacher training and have been registered since then through Yoga Alliance. Most recently, I completed the Certified Wellness Coach (CWC) program at the Catalyst Coaching Institute. I begin the Master Certified Wellness Coach (MCWC) in May to prepare for the NBHWC board certification exam. Additionally, I am working toward my certification as a, Certified Integrative Mental Health Practitioner.

The approach I use when working with clients is centered around holistic wellness. Holistic wellness considers several aspects of the person and their overall wellbeing. Physical, Intellectual, Emotional & Mental, Spiritual, Social, Environmental, Career, and Financial are all components of our wellbeing and health. A holistic healing perspective considers that each aspect is an important part of the overall experience and person. We are all made up of these various components and each component contributes to your overall wellbeing.

My passion is for living well and intentionally, while supporting our bodies and minds through holistic, natural approaches and integrative practices (nutrition, movement, mindfulness, detoxification, supplements when appropriate, herbal protocols when appropriate, and so much more). If you'd like to explore if 1:1 sessions are right for you, please book a free 15 minute initial call. I can help you get started. Come just as you are. There are no prerequisites.
